So much to update everyone on. I delivered my best workshop ever at the High River Library April 4th. It was amazing for me. It was the most authentic presentation I have given yet. It was scary but so rewarding. From that I have now started a Sacred Circle. This is something Julia Cameron encourages people to do to support each other while they explore living more creatively. We are on a conference call every second Tuesday for an hour. If you want more information please contact me at 403-549-2031 or at dragonfly@platinum.ca
This cooler weather is proving challenging for my garden and seedlings. But I just know it is all working perfectly. I intend to have more flowers on My Cart Blossoms every Saturday morning in my driveway. So stop by for a free bouquet.
I now have a deadline of shifting all of my business to Dragonflies and Daisies. This dream of opening a Garden Retreat (Dragonflies and Daisies) is finally coming to the surface. I will be hosting a great event in June. I will keep updating the Coming Events page. By June 27th I plan to have the new website up and running to provide people with more information and events.
I keep writing my blog and encourage everyone to subscribe to the weekly submissions on nutrition, motivation and Dragonflies and Daisies (garden retreat). As well, I am maintaining the My Life Blossoms group on Facebook. Look me up and get added to the group where I share lots of wellness ideas and topics.
I would love to work from home 3 - 4 days a week in a tourism related field. This flexible schedule would allow me to focus on my garden and garden retreat. I put this out there just in case someone knows someone who needs someone like me!

I am still around - busier than ever. I spoke with the Lethbridge Horticulture Society in late January. I find gardeners to be so giving and willing to share. I won the door prize that night, got some heirloom tomato seeds and lots of other great information. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
I am working on a workshop that I will be giving at the High River Library April 4th. It has been a journey even as a I put it together. It is called An Introduction to Living Creatively based on a book by Julia Cameron. If you want more information please see the Coming Events page.
My seeds have all been ordered and I am gearing up for seeding. I can't wait to get my flower cart out on Saturday mornings. Stop by for free flowers!
I am working on moving my business more in line with my dream of opening a Garden Retreat (Dragonflies and Daisies). I will be hosting a couple of events along that line later this summer, so stay tuned.

I am always looking for the perfect data entry job in the mean time to pay the bills. Keep me in mind for that - I'd love to work from home using my computer.

As you may have noticed things are slowing down on the My Life Blossoms front. What that means is that things are picking up in other areas. I have been working on a couple of other projects. I keep writing my blog and encourage everyone to subscribe to the weekly submissions on nutrition, motivation and Dragonflies and Daisies. Dragonflies and Daisies is one of the other projects. It is a Garden Retreat idea I've had since 2003. I love sharing my dream on the blog.
I have been delivering a couple of workshops this fall from the High River library. The tea tasting is this weekend. The program coordinator convinced me to do a full day workshop in the spring called An Introduction to Living Creatively. It's a bit daunting because I'm basing the workshop on my most favorite book of all time "The Artist's Way" by Julia Cameron. So keep checking for information on that!
I belong to the Chatelaine Reader Panel and was fortunate enough to be in the November 2008 issue on pages 23 and 252. After being published in Rising Women Magazine and winning a VIP pass to the next Women of Influence luncheon I feel like the universe is opening up and letting the world hear my voice. It feels very validating. I am grateful for the exposure.
I do have a group on Facebook called My Life Blossoms - if you are interested in being invited in to the group, email me and get yourself added to the group. I post a lot of discussion topics on living well / wellness.

Well a lot has happened since my last post in April. I have basically put My Life Blossoms on the back burner and returned to work. It was difficult to give up one dream, but paying the bills seemed more important. I'm glad I gave it a full year. I learned a lot about being self employed. I have seen a few of my clients graduate and someone else sign up. I've had an articled published in Rising Women. The online version is available under articles, under Home & Garden at www.risingwomen.com. I encourage you to keep checking on my blog . You can subscribe and get an email every Monday morning when I do updates on topics like Nutrition, Motivation and Dragonflies and Daisies.

This is the latest testimonial from my most recent client. Reading this reminds me of why I love my work and my life!
"I didn't know what to expect from this program when I began. I was very afraid to do this, because I'm afraid of failure. Michelle is there for me at every step reassuring and encouraging me. Every week I leave our meeting feeling energized and inspired! I am able to look at myself in the mirror and see my beauty. I've learned we all are beautiful, we just have to allow ourselves to be. I've learned you need to love yourself as you would another, instead of being negative and neglectful. Michelle has taught me how to bring out the best in myself, how to love myself and care for myself. Oh, yes, and to remember to reward myself. We often celebrate everyone else's achievements but our own. Without Michelle, I wouldn't be the budding beautiful flower I've become. I now have the potential to shed my layers and show off my beauty for all to see!!" Amanda

Please check out Coming Events - you can see where I am holding workshops and when.
Where did the name come from you're wondering. Well as you will see in my bio I am a gardener and it seemed quite appropriate to think of this journey in gardening terms. My title as Life Gardener represents that I am a grower of lives. And the program title stands for all of the potential women have for change and growth.
We all need support to change and grow. Read some of the testimonials
